CAT and kitten adoption special to Seattle Animal Shelter - KING-5

This is the kitten season and the Seattle animal shelter is bulging at the seams with cats and kittens ready for adoption.


The shelter said to encourage potential owners, adoption fees are waived for cats and reduced to kittens through June 30, 2012. The offer is made possible by a grant from the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation.


With this special offer, for a cat (6 months or more) adoptive parents pay only the cost of the license, if applicable. Licenses 2 years cat of Seattle are $27. Reduced for kittens adoption fees are $ 100 for one and $ 150 for two (more licenses, if applicable), a savings of $30 for a single male kitten and $35 for a single female for as much as $120 for two female kittens. "It's certainly here from Seattle animal kitten season," said Don Jordan, Director of the Seattle Animal shelter. "We want to get our kittens and adult cats, which are often neglected at this time of the year, lovers of new houses always."
